ACR TalkBack Software automatically downloads logged information and responds to SmartReader Plus alarms.
Autobackup Feature
TalkBack Software can be setup to download logged data from any ACR SmartReader Plus Data Logger that is located on a local or remote ACR data logger network. TalkBack will call the logger by modem or contact the logger if on a local network, download the logged information and save it to your hard drive at a user-set interval. This will prevent you from having to manually backup logged data when the logger’s memory becomes full.
Alarm Indicating Feature
TalkBack Software can be setup to receive all tripped alarms that are setup in the SmartReader Plus Data Logger. When the logger measures an exceeded value on any of its channels, the logger will call the computer with the TalkBack Software installed. TalkBack will then run an alarm macro that has been user-set. Macro options include
sounds, visual alarms, running of other programs and calling a pager or cell phone with Caller ID capability.
